Joint announcement by the Neuenhaus Joint Municipal Authority and the Municipality of Georgsdorf
46. Amendment to the land-use plan of the Neuenhaus joint municipality and adoption of Local Development Plan No. 18, ‘Neues Land Industrial Estate, Extension’, for the municipality of Georgsdorf.
At its meeting on 10 February 2026, the Joint Municipal Committee of the Neuenhaus Joint Municipality passed the resolution to draw up the 46th amendment to the Land-Use Plan (as amended by the 2005 re-publication). At its meeting on 18 August 2026, the Georgsdorf Municipal Council passed a resolution to draw up Local Development Plan No. 18 ‘Neues Land Industrial Estate, Extension’.
The decisions to display the plans are hereby published in accordance with section 2(1) of the Building Code.
The reason for drawing up the above-mentioned local development plan is the planned expansion of the ‘Neues Land’ industrial estate, as the building plots in the industrial estates within the municipality of Georgsdorf that are protected under planning law have almost all been allocated, and in order to ensure the municipality’s continued commercial development.
The draft plans will be available for inspection from 14 September 2026 to 14 October 2026 (inclusive) during office hours at the Citizens’ Office of Neuenhaus Joint Municipal Authority, Veldhausener Str. 26, 49828 Neuenhaus, or at the municipal office of the municipality of Georgsdorf, Schulstraße 26, 49828 Georgsdorf (Tel. 05946 1408). An environmental assessment is carried out as part of the preparation of the urban land-use plan in accordance with Section 2 (4) of the German Building Code (BauGB). The environmental impact is described and assessed in an environmental report.
