The Heimatfreunde Neuenhaus collects and inventories books and publications on the history of the town and joint municipality and makes them available for use by anyone interested. Literature that is already available is often handed in. This gave rise to the idea of acquiring a public bookcase in which these copies could be made available to others. A historic yellow telephone box that catches the eye would be ideal.
The new traffic signs were installed in the city centre today. Please observe the changed right of way due to the extension of the 30 km/h zone and show consideration for other road users.

Employees from the municipality and the architectural firm Potgeter + Wefelshütten were able to see the progress of the demolition work at the primary school. The work is on schedule. The earthworks will then begin. The shell construction work is scheduled to begin around the end of January.
