Annette Schneider, chair of the local branch, welcomed high-ranking guests from the regional and district levels, who conveyed their best wishes to the local branch on the occasion of its anniversary. Five years ago, a celebration to mark the branch’s 100th anniversary was unfortunately not possible due to the Covid-19 situation. This made the celebrations all the more joyful, with coffee and cake, and dancing to a performance by the Twist folk dance group.
Greetings from the Council and the administration of the town and joint municipality of Neuenhaus were conveyed by Michael Kramer, First Councillor of the Joint Municipality, who highlighted the important role and work carried out by the SoVD within the social fabric.
