Ground-breaking ceremony for the Veldhausen railway station

The work is due to be completed by November. Alongside the new platform, bus stops, car parks and cycle parking facilities are being built, amongst other things, to create a modern and attractive transport link.

The line from Neuenhaus via Veldhausen, Hoogstede, Emlichheim and Laar to Coevorden in the Netherlands is scheduled to open in December. With the new railway stop, Veldhausen will gain a direct connection to the local passenger rail network, and our joint municipality will gain another important building block for sustainable, cross-border mobility.

We are looking forward to the first Regiopa trains stopping in Veldhausen this December!
