This means that the mill will be fully operational again on Whit Monday, 4 June 2026 - German Mill Day. The public is cordially invited to come and see the success of the project for themselves. A total budget of around 130,000 euros has been earmarked for the preservation of the heritage-protected mill, which is a landmark in the area, of which just under 60,000 euros has been earmarked from the LEADER funding programme. The Emsländische Landschaft subsidises this with 20,000 euros. A further 30,000 euros will be contributed by the municipality of Georgsdorf. Representatives of the Georgsdorf Mill Association thanked the grant providers and were pleased with the progress of the work.
