This initiative aims to encourage residents to plant more trees in their gardens and front gardens, thereby improving the local microclimate and boosting biodiversity. Applications can be submitted from 15 September 2026 via our OpenRathaus service portal. Priority will be given to residents who did not receive a tree last year.
Those interested can choose from a variety of trees and shrubs – from apple trees to wild cherries.
Trees can be collected on Friday 6 November between 10.00 and 12.00, or on Saturday 7 November between 10.00 and 12.00, from the Neuenhaus municipal depot at Am Bahnhof 12.
