The photos of the Pingste crowns must be sent by email to rathaus@neuenhaus.de by 10 June 2025. Please include the name, age and address of the child as well as a declaration of consent from the parents.
If the crowns are made in groups, the contact details and declaration of consent of all children involved must be submitted so that everyone can be mentioned on the certificates.
The Pingste crown should be made from a framework of willow rods and decorated as creatively as possible with oak leaves and natural flowers. The jury, made up of members of "Heimatfreunde Neuenhaus e.V.", will judge the ingenuity, care and overall impression of the crowns.
This competition aims to revitalise and cultivate the old customs of the town of Neuenhaus.
The public award ceremony will take place on 19 June 2025 at 15:00 in the premises of the Heimatfreunde, Lager Str. 19, Neuenhaus.
All participants are cordially invited to take part in the award ceremony.
Prizes will be awarded to the top three places and all children who take part will receive a small gift. The first three prize winners will be notified directly by the town of Neuenhaus and invited separately to the award ceremony.
