Christiane and Udo Preisinger planted a wild apple and a wild pear for their two grandchildren Ella and Bela. The two proud tree owners, who were actively supported in the planting campaign by their parents and the deputy city manager Michael Kramer, received a certificate.
The annual tree planting campaign organised by the town of Neuhaus offers families the opportunity to create a lasting memento for special family occasions such as weddings, anniversaries and births by planting a tree. By using native tree species, a contribution is made to biodiversity and climate protection.
The town of Neuhaus will also publicise the next planting campaign in good time next year so that families can reserve a tree with the town of Neuhaus.
