At its meeting on 19 April 2023, the administrative committee of the town of Neuenhaus passed the resolution to draw up development plan no. 97 "Hardinger Straße" and on 18 June 2025 approved the draft of the development plan and decided on its public display.
The resolution on the preparation of the application is hereby published in accordance with Section 2 (1) of the German Building Code (BauGB).
The reason for the above-mentioned urban land-use planning is the subsequent use of a former commercial property. Several apartment blocks and terraced houses are to be built here by a developer.

- Inventory and assessment of environmental protection issues, including nature conservation and landscape management, in particular
- The impact on animals, plants, biodiversity, species and protected areas and objects
- The impact on land, soil, water, climate and air
- The impact on the landscape
- The impact on people, human health and emissions
- The impact on cultural and other material assets
- The interactions between the aforementioned issues
- The statements on the European network - Natura 2000
- Vulnerability to serious accidents and disasters
- Impact forecasts and environmentally relevant measures

The draft plan and annexes will be published on the Internet from 29 July 2025 up to and including 1 September 2025 in accordance with Section 3 (2) of the German Building Code (BauGB) at www.neuenhaus.de under Citizens / Construction, Order, Traffic / Urban land-use planning / Current planning procedures.
In addition, the draft plan and annexes are available for public inspection during office hours at the town hall of the Neuenhaus joint municipality, Veldhausener Str. 26, 49828 Neuenhaus, in the citizens' office.
There is a general opportunity for comments and discussion during the publication period. In accordance with Section 3 (2) sentence 4 no. 2 BauGB, comments should be submitted electronically. Any comments not submitted in due time may be disregarded in the resolution on the urban land-use plan under the conditions of Section 4 a (6) BauGB. An application pursuant to Section 47 of the Administrative Court Code is inadmissible if it asserts objections that were not asserted or were asserted late by the applicant within the scope of the interpretation but could have been asserted.
