Urban land-use planning

42nd amendment to the land use plan of the Neuenhaus joint municipality and preparation of development plan no. 99 "Nördlich Buchenstraße" of the town of Neuenhaus.

At its meeting on 9 October 2024, the joint municipal committee of the Neuenhaus joint municipality passed the resolution to draw up the 42nd amendment to the land use plan. At its meeting on 20 August 2025, the administrative committee of the town of Neuenhaus resolved to draw up development plan no. 99 "Nördlich Buchenstraße". The decisions to draw up the development plan are hereby published in accordance with Section 2 (1) of the German Building Code.

The reason for the above-mentioned urban land-use planning is the planned demolition of old buildings and the construction of new apartment blocks and semi-detached bungalows by an investor.

The public will be informed at an early stage in accordance with Section 3 (1) BauGB about the aim and purpose of the planning etc. by making the planning documents available on the Internet at www.neuenhaus.de under the heading Bauen und Umwelt/Bauleitplanung/aktuelle Planverfahren in the period from 09/09/2025 to 09/10/2025 (inclusive). It will also be possible to inspect the planning documents during office hours at the citizens' office of the town hall of the Neuenhaus joint municipality, Veldhausener Str. 26 in 49828 Neuenhaus. During this time, there is a general opportunity for comments and discussion. In addition, comments can also be submitted by post (see address above), by email(rathaus@neuenhaus.de) or for recording.

An environmental assessment is carried out as part of the preparation of the urban land-use plan in accordance with Section 2 (4) of the German Building Code (BauGB). The environmental impact is described and assessed in an environmental report.
